FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program
As of July 1, 2010, Avon State Bank will no longer be participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Funds held in noninterest-bearing transaction accounts exceeding $250,000 will no longer be guaranteed in full under the TAG Program, but funds will still be insured up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit rules.
